Last Stop Infinite mode
No Cart 0 pressure. Catalog tells until 50 Anomalies Spotted actually drops.
Infinite mode is the same Last Stop aisle without a Cart 0 finish line. You still memorize Cart 20. You still turn back on a mismatch and walk forward on a match. The cart numbers keep coming. Use this when you need the 50 Anomalies Spotted badge, when Normal streaks die on the same family of tells, or when you want a quiet catalog session. It is not a second campaign. Servers stay single-player.
If you have never cleared Normal, read getting started and the Cart 0 walkthrough first. Infinite will not teach the win screen. It will teach naming. Pair it with how to spot anomalies so every back-out has a sentence attached.
What Infinite changes — and what it does not
- No You Won from this mode. You Won is a clean streak to Cart 0. That lives on how to get You Won and endings.
- No store scanner. The anomaly scanner is Normal-only. If you came here hoping to ping every cart forever, that tool is locked. Learn lighting on default settings instead of fullbright.
- Spotting badges still count. 1 / 5 / 10 / 20 / 50 Anomalies Spotted track detections, not a twenty-cart streak. Infinite is the honest farm. See badges.
- A miss still resets the current chain of clean carts, but you are here to catalog, so a miss is a note, not a ruined evening.
The May 6, 2026 place update did not add a new Infinite rule. Patch notes still describe the same loop.
Why players pick Infinite on purpose
Normal punishes one missed whisper with a full restart. That is correct design for You Won and a terrible classroom. Infinite lets you see the stretched sleeper, the doll-for-clown swap, the back of Stops Remaining, and the TURN BACK door label in one sitting. You can then take those names into a Normal run without guessing.
It is also the only sane way to finish 50 Anomalies Spotted. Twenty detections is not fifty. A Normal win does not auto-complete the catalog. Players who only play for Cart 0 stall on that badge for weeks.
Session recipe (45 minutes)
- Warm Cart 20 using the memorize list on getting started. Speak sleeper side, bag color, phone-guy shirt, clown silhouette, soda crate, arrows, Next Cart label, ceiling tubes.
- Open the anomaly checklist on a second screen. Tick families, not vibes.
- Headphones on. Audio D-tier tells are why Infinite exists.
- Each mismatch: turn back, name it, tick easy or hard. If you cannot name it, you do not get credit in your own notes even if the game awarded a spot.
- After twelve named tells, stop. Fatigue invents anomalies that are just a bad 180. Controls if the camera is the real problem.
Do not tab out to hunt codes. There are none. Do not inject ESP. Default NPCs will all light up and the puzzle disappears. Script safety if a paste promised auto-spot.
What to farm besides 50 spots
- Hard door labels — Next Cart as TURN BACK, Stops Remaining reverse text. Infinite gives you volume.
- NPC micro swaps — bag recolor, blonde typing girl, businessman in the sleeper seat. Roster: cart NPCs.
- Entities — slenderman aisle, heaven door, sequential blackout. See entities. Screenshot them here, not on a Normal Cart 4 streak.
- Audio — whisper, PA, choir without looking up, metal pound. Mute is cheating yourself.
When the catalog feels automatic, leave Infinite. A You Won attempt in Normal is a different muscle: twenty decisions in a row, not fifty names in a notebook.
Infinite versus Speedrun
Speedrun is five minutes, no scanner, three bad endings if the clock dies. Infinite has no clock and no You Won. Do not practice Speedrun habits here (skipping the reverse sign, sprinting past posters). Those habits farm Anomaly Missed, not Speedrunner.
Common Infinite mistakes
- Treating every cart as dirty because you are “in farm mode.” False positives waste time and teach panic.
- Using Infinite as a substitute for reading Cart 20. The baseline is still Cart 20, not the last weird car you liked.
- Expecting a unique Infinite ending. The loop does not hand you a credits crawl. Stop when the badge pops or the notes are full.
- Playing the unrestricted under-17 place thinking it adds extra Infinite anomalies. It is a rating fork, documented on official links.
