Hard Last Stop anomalies
The misses that reset a Cart 7 streak even when you "looked."
Hard anomalies are small, quiet, or placed where a forward-facing walk never looks. They are why You Won is rarer than Anomaly Missed. Grade them B–D on the tier list hub. Drill them after easy anomalies are boring. The method remains the six-point scan on how to spot anomalies.
Door and sign lies (C-tier that feels like D)
Next Cart reads TURN BACK. You are trained to ignore the label because it is usually the same. Read it every car. A red outline on that door is the louder cousin.
Stops Remaining says GO BACK or changes color to green. Also check the back of the sign: YOU WILL DIE shows up there. If your controls 180 never sees the reverse, this tell is invisible.
Mask poster: turn back and wake up. Easy to parse if you read; easy to skip if you treat posters as wallpaper.
Missing poster becomes WANTED or says YOU are missing. Same frame, new noun. This is the classic Last Stop joke and the reason the description says “pictures.”
Makeup ad cries blood. Same placement, extra gore.
Caution sign under the cart number. You look at the number, not the object that moved.
Layout lies
Mirrored car. Sleeping passenger on the wrong side. If your baseline is “sleeper left,” a right sleeper is a mismatch even if the model is identical. See cart NPCs.
Missing handlebars. Absence is harder than presence. Force a glance at the ceiling rails.
Boxes moved a meter. Your brain fills the crate where it “should” be. Compare against Cart 20, not against a tidy mental diagram.
Cracked glass / outside backrooms / laughing crowd. Windows are skippable if you tunnel-vision the aisle. Put windows on point 2 of the scan with lights.
NPC micro swaps
Bag recolor on the sleeper. Not stretched, not bleeding, just the wrong sack color.
Typing girl blonde. Hair only.
Businessman replacing the sleeper. Same seat, new outfit. If you scan “occupied seat” as a boolean, you miss it.
Phone guy with free hands, new haircut, or no mustache. The McDonald’s shirt is easy; these are not.
People staring. Animation change. You have to look at faces, not silhouettes.
Money bag under the homeless sleeper. Low in the camera, easy to skip on mobile.
Audio (D-tier, headphones required)
- Whisper from the typing girl
- PA announcer / technical difficulties
- Choir with the heaven door (the door is S, the choir without a look-up is D)
- Metal pounding plus sequential light death
- Screams with impending darkness
- Phone call that is no longer the default beep
Mute the client and you have deleted this entire section. Fullbright plus mute is how people say “the game is unfair.” It is not unfair. It told you to watch sound in the Roblox description.
Timing and UI
Doors opening and closing on a loop. You might call it lag. It is a tell.
Indecisive / syntax-looking cart number. Do not trust the HUD as gospel. Trust Cart 20 plus the scan.
In-scanner disagreement. If the anomaly scanner pings and you see nothing, believe the ping, turn back, and review this list later. If you see nothing and the scanner is silent, go forward.
Practice that actually transfers
Infinite mode, headphones, no scanner. You may only turn back if you can name the tell. “Something feels off” is not allowed. That rule is how D-tier becomes B-tier in your hands before you attempt the speedrun.
When you fail a Normal streak, write the miss on the checklist the same day. A list you do not update is how hard tells stay hard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Cart 20, Cart 0, and the speedrun clock.
Why do I keep missing anomalies that YouTube calls obvious?
Videos pause. Live carts do not. Use the six-point scan on how to spot anomalies instead of a vibe.
Are audio anomalies required for You Won?
If they spawn on your path, yes. You cannot skip a whisper because you prefer posters. Headphones are part of the kit.
Does the scanner catch door-label swaps?
Do not assume it. Read the label yourself. Scanner limits are on anomaly scanner.
Should I learn hard tells before easy ones?
No. Empty easy anomalies first or you will overfit to whispers and walk past fire.
