Last Stop endings

What you see at Cart 0, and what the five-minute clock does if you fail it.

All Endings

Last Stop is short on branching dialogue and long on fail states. There is one good arrival at Cart 0 in Normal, the same arrival if you beat the speedrun clock, and three documented bad endings if that clock expires. Badges match those outcomes. This page is the ending map; the skill to reach them is still the walkthrough.

Good ending — You arrived at the last stop

Requirement: twenty correct forward-or-back decisions until the cart counter hits 0. Mode can be Normal or a successful Speedrun.

What you get:

  • The arrival beat (title-card energy, empty platform, the sense that the loop broke).
  • The You Won badge.
  • If you were on the five-minute clock and still inside the limit, Speedrunner as well.

There is no secret extra boss after 0 in Normal. Do not turn around on the platform looking for a plus-ultra cart unless you are specifically hunting a speedrun fail cinematic. Players who keep walking sometimes think the game is trolling them with a fake ending; community clips of a “fake finish” are usually an anomaly that looks like an exit (heaven door, choir, white light). That white door is a hard anomaly, not Cart 0. Turn back.

Speedrun bad ending 1

Requirement: start Speedrun, fail to finish twenty carts in five minutes, and roll ending 1. Badge: [Speedrun] Bad Ending 1.

This fail is a punishment cinematic, not a shortcut to You Won. Treat it as collectible content after you already know how to spot anomalies. Farming it on purpose is easier than people expect: walk slowly, inspect every poster, and let the clock die. Farming it by accident is what happens when you first try the clock without a protocol.

Speedrun bad ending 2

Same fail condition, different cinematic. Badge: [Speedrun] Bad Ending 2. Award counts sit in the same band as ending 1 (a couple of thousand each), which means the game is rolling among the three rather than hiding a 1% secret. You do not need a special item or a code. You need a dead timer.

If you want all three, stay in Speedrun and fail on purpose after you own You Won. There is no evidence that the roll is tied to how many anomalies you spotted during the failed clock.

Speedrun bad ending 3

Third cinematic, [Speedrun] Bad Ending 3. Same clock rule. Together the three bad-ending badges are the “I touched Speedrun and lost” set. They are rarer than You Won in absolute numbers only because most players never toggle the mode. Among speedrun attempts, fails outnumber Speedrunner (about 1.1k Speedrunner versus ~2.1–2.2k per bad ending).

What is not an ending

  • Anomaly Missed is a reset, not an ending. You go back to Cart 20.
  • Entity chase (glitch man, door woman, darkness) is an anomaly. Survive by turning back, not by waiting for a credits crawl. See entities.
  • Scanner purchase does not change endings. It only exists in Normal. See anomaly scanner.
  • Unrestricted under-17 place uses the same loop. It is a rating fork, not an ending fork.

How to collect every ending badge efficiently

  1. Clear Normal using the walkthrough for You Won.
  2. Learn a clean six-point scan so a later clock run is possible.
  3. Attempt Speedrun for Speedrunner.
  4. If you still lack bad endings, start Speedrun and stand in Cart 20 until the timer kills you. Repeat until all three badges pop. You do not need to discover new easy anomalies during those fails.

This is the opposite of how you should play for fun, but it is the honest badge route. Nothing2Serious tracks these as separate awards, so the wiki tracks them as separate endings.

Story reading (light)

The fiction is a looped subway that wants you to notice it lying. The good ending is leaving. The speedrun fails are the loop closing on someone who hurried. There is no dialogue tree, no Paper Dolls chapter, and no second-player epilogue. If you landed here from the 2021 Annapurna game also named Last Stop, you are on the wrong wiki: this one is the Roblox Exit 8 clone with carts.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Cart 20, Cart 0, and the speedrun clock.

How many endings does Last Stop have?

One good Cart 0 arrival plus three Speedrun timer fails. Misses are resets, not endings. See badges for the award names.

Does Infinite mode have an ending?

No Cart 0 arrival. Infinite is for cataloging tells. Switch to Normal or Speedrun when you want You Won.

Can I get You Won and Speedrunner in one run?

Yes, if you finish twenty carts inside five minutes. That route is the speedrun page.

Is the glowing heaven door the good ending?

No. That door is an anomaly. Turn back. The real finish is the Cart 0 arrival described above.
