Beat Last Stop: Cart 20 to Cart 0
A decision protocol for twenty carts, not a spoiler dump of every prop.
Beating Last Stop means arriving at Cart 0 with twenty correct calls in a row. There is no boss HP, no final QTE, and no teammate clutch. You either judged each car against Cart 20 or you did not. This walkthrough is the protocol. Pair it with how to spot anomalies and the anomaly checklist so you are not improvising at Cart 4.
If you have not finished the memorize pass, stop and read getting started. Walking in blind is how the Anomaly Missed badge stays more common than You Won.
The win condition
- Start in Cart 20 (or the lobby that loads you there).
- For each following cart: anomaly present → turn back. No anomaly → go forward.
- After enough correct forwards, the number reaches 0 and the platform ending plays.
- That awards You Won. See badges and endings.
Turning back on a clean cart is inefficient but safe: you re-roll the next room. Walking forward on a dirty cart is death for the streak.
Cart-by-cart protocol
Use the same six-point scan every time. Do not reorder it when you are nervous.
- Threshold. As the door opens, is there an extra person on the left? Is the aisle mirrored? Is a boss, doll, or stretched sleeper occupying the center?
- Lights and smoke. Red lights, blackout, one-by-one failures, fire, red smoke, or a heaven-white door at the far end.
- Signage. Stops Remaining text and color, Next Cart versus TURN BACK, Have a safe ride versus NOT safe, caution sign moved under the number.
- Props. Soda box, electrical panel, camera LED, handlebars missing, arrows recolored or reversed.
- NPCs. Phone guy’s shirt and smile, girl’s hair, clown versus doll, bag color, posters that now say YOU or WANTED.
- Audio. Two seconds of silence listening for choir, whisper, announcer, screams, or pounding.
If any point fails, turn around before you reach the far door. Several anomalies sit on that door itself.
Mid-run management
- Cart 19–15: still warm from memory. Do not get cocky. Easy tells cluster here: soccer ball, open electrical box, green soda, McDonald’s shirt. See easy anomalies.
- Cart 14–8: fatigue. This is where flipped layouts and “almost normal” posters live. Slow down. Use hard anomalies.
- Cart 7–1: paranoia. Players start turning back on clean carts and stall. Trust the six-point scan, not a vibe.
- Cart 0: stop looking for a trick. If the game says you arrived, you arrived. Watch the ending; do not sprint out and miss the badge toast.
When to use the scanner
The official anomaly scanner is a Normal-mode store item. It is legal inside the game’s own rules, unlike most scripts. Use it when two points of the scan disagree, not as a replacement for eyes. It will not help on the speedrun clock.
Skip fullbright until you have a legitimate win. Darkness itself is a tell. Nuking lighting can hide the impending-darkness anomaly and make a “lights too bright” tell harder to judge.
Miss recovery
You will miss. The first miss grants Anomaly Missed. After that:
- Do not immediately re-queue on tilt.
- Write down the cart number and the thing you think you skipped.
- Check it against the checklist.
- If it was audio, replay with headphones.
- If it was an NPC, read cart NPCs.
- If it chased you, read entities.
Then start a fresh memorize. Mixing an old mental snapshot with a new Cart 20 is a hidden fail state.
Infinite mode as training
If Normal is too punishing, farm Infinite until 20 and 50 anomaly badges are done. Infinite still teaches the same tells without the Cart 0 pressure. It does not award You Won. Switch back to Normal when your false-negative rate drops.
You do not need codes or a teammate
There are no codes that skip carts. You cannot invite a friend to dual-spot. The walkthrough is a solo discipline. If a video overlay promises a skip, it is for a different game.
After the win
- Screenshot You Won.
- Read endings so you know the good ending from the three speedrun failures.
- Attempt Speedrun only after the six-point scan is muscle memory.
- Check patch notes if a later update adds props; your Cart 20 baseline must include new defaults.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Cart 20, Cart 0, and the speedrun clock.
How do I beat Last Stop on Roblox?
Memorize Cart 20, then make twenty correct forward-or-back calls. The spotting guide is the skill; this page is the run structure.
Does turning back too often fail the run?
No. Extra backs waste time but keep you alive. Walking forward on a wrong cart is the fail.
Is Cart 0 itself an anomaly?
No. Reaching 0 is the win. Do not turn around on the platform unless a post-win event is happening for a speedrun fail. See endings.
Can I pause to check this wiki?
Yes in Normal. In speedrun the five-minute clock keeps ticking, so memorize offline instead.
